I do not know about the pee here, but I put my DD vernix under my eyes!

In some parts of the word the vernix is believed to be "left overs" of having sex at the end of your pregnancy; in a few places that this is believed when it is thick the vernix is rubbed off with salt, like a salt rub for the face or feet.

Apparently, it's an old timey remedy for Thrush. My Mom said she did it with me when I had a bad case of thrush as a baby. Apparently it worked like a charm. I've been battling thrush myself and the Nyastatin that the doctor gave isn't really working after a week and a half so I've actually been considering it. Your own urine isn't bad for you - it's got antiseptic qualities to it so there must be something to this remedy. I've heard of peeing on your feet to stop them from smelling and I'm sure most people have seen the Friends episode where Joey pees on Monica when she steps on a stingray to stop the stinging.
