Diva cup question

I really want to get a Diva cup but I'm wondering since if I'll find it too uncomfotable. Since the birth of the twins I have not been able to use a tampon as they just hurt too much.

I've read all the diva cup literature here and on ehteir website but I haven't come across this issue. Any ideas?

I think it might be different since it's not dry like a tampon. You can wet it with warm water before inserting.

But . . It did take me a few tries to figure out how to insert it correctly, so you might not be up for that yet.

On the disboards.com budget board, there was a loooooong thread (37+ pages!) and people were posting good deals they found on ordering one (like for under $20), so you might want to look for a good deal.

I've had one for about two years and really prefer it to tampons or pads.

How far postpartum are you? You may just still be healing (esp since one of the girls was a footling). If you're past the healing stage and still find tampons painful, I'll have to ask a very personal question...Is intercourse painful or ok? If intercourse is ok, then I'd go for the Diva. If intercourse is painful, then I'd be getting checked out up-in-there to make sure there is no damage.

That being said, I agree with PP in that it took me a little while to find the "magic fit" for my body. So if you do go Diva, then be prepared to fiddle around a little bit and wait out the learning curve. I love my Diva!
