Hiya Moms, (long & TMI)

Here I am mom of 2 DD (3.5 yrs and 12 months 2 weeks) at Disneyland 2 weeks ago with an IUD (Paraguard) slipping out. The "T" part is still inside the cervix and the long string is literally coming out. It is hurting as the strings are really stiff. I called my OB back home, no after hours care?! WTF?! I call my GP and he says that the IUD is made to flex and be pulled out by the strings. I give a slight tug and out it came. I have no idea how long it has been slipping 12 hours or 12 weeks?!

I come back home 5 days later and call OB she said, "I have been putting in IUDs since 1989 and have never had one slip out after so long of being in." I start the "am I imagining this?" feeling. She will order me a new IUD to put in.

Hubby and I bd that night with the sperm-killing film. 3-4 days later I get copious amounts of CM. LONG and stretchy CM, one that had a spot of blood in the mucous. Breasts hurt on sides like the 2 pregnancies before. !! Not imagined hurt, real hurt.

I go to the dr. for blood test before I order the $500 out of pocket IUD. Today got the blood test back - NEG. Today is 13 days after IUD came out. Funny, if memory is serving me right this is EXACTLY what happened last pregnancy. Got NEG blood test only to find out apprx. 2 weeks later POS! Again I am getting "am I imagining this?" feeling.

NO IDEA of last period I am still NURSING. I got IUD put in in Nov 2007 and had bleeding a few weeks after that - period or IUD ????? I DON'T KNOW!

PG symptoms:

BB hurt! on sides
Gaged today reading story
CM overflow
CRYING OMG! I never cry at the drop of hat
Some small spells of dizzy!
Twinges of pain inside L and R sides along hip line??
Twinge of pain inside rib cage...??

Could I be making this up?

I hate it when dr. says NO and my body saying YES! Help me what do you think? When the hecka should I test? No idea of cycles! Tell me I am not crazy!

I don't know what to tell you! Certainly sometimes PMS symptoms are similar to pregnancy symptoms...

If O happened at the end of the stretchy CM, as is typical, my guess would be that you wouldn't have tested positive at the dr (though you didn't say when that visit was...), even if you are pregnant because it would have been too soon. I bet the early tests would know now though. (but I'm not an expert on testing, so maybe someone else has a better idea?)

Agreed... whether or not you are pregnant, the test at your doctor's would have come back negative because it was too early. Remember, the chances of getting pg in any given cycle under perfect conditions are only about 1/4 or 1/5, so after IUD use AND with a spermicidal film AND with CM 4 days later... well, you'd have to be really, really lucky to catch that egg. But it definitely can happen. Wait a week and test again.
