Books on raising troubled teens

I'll try to make this brief.
My niece is 14. From the time she was 3 until 14 she lived primarily with her father. He was/is abusive both physically and emotionally. My niece did not have a pleasnt chldhood.
Now at 14 she is finally living with my sisiter in another state.
Sadly my sisiter is having a very hard time with her because of course my niece is acting out and doing things that normal teenagers do but she is also out of control in some areas b/c of her past.
She has many issues regarding boys, men , trust.

My sisiter was trying very hard to be patient but is really at a loss of how to approach everything all at once. She kind of lost it today and feels badly.

I am looking for books for my sister and my niece to help everyone be gentle with each other. I know about books for raising little ones but can you start fresh with a 14 year old?

I'm a big fan of this book and it helped me with all my relationships, not just the one with my teen. But it was remarkable how much peace that following the techniques brought into our home. It changed our lives and I recommend it to others, especially those with teens.
