Baby's here!!! (Updated with his name. ;)

The whole story later, but...


Our baby boy was born on April 23rd, 2008 at 5:01 a.m. He was 12 lbs :and 23 inches long. His chest measured almost 17 inches!

I'm still reeling from the whole thing, but we're doing fine. Baby is nursing like a pro!

More later.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a cutie. Here I've been worried about having another 10 pounder. I'm a little scared now! He is beautiful.

We had no idea how big he was! I thought near 9 lbs maybe, but not this! Even my midwife was surprised.

Still no name... Close though. I'll be back with his birth story later.

Wow supermama congrats on your new arrival!! You are the stuff legends are made of (I don't personally know of anyone who had delivered bigger than 11 lbs vaginally!)

Congratulations--12 pounds is amazing! That's double the size of some babies. And I like the name, especially since I have a friend named Gus that is one of the nicest people in the world.
