Help with down pillows!!

I have these beautiful silk, feather filled throw pillows on my couches. I purchased them about a year ago. They are lined under the silk cover. The problem is that the feathers are constantly poking through. I have to pull them out, probably a dozen a day or so.
My question is what can i do about this?? It's rather annoying. I love the pillows and I'd rather not get rid of them. I'd even be open to taking out the feather inserts and filling the silk cover with something else if there is no way to keep this from happening.
Any suggestions??

I had this problem with my down pillows, too. It got better over time. If I had it to do again, though, I'd probably get some really high-thread count twin sheets or pillow cases at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, and use them to make covers as a between layer. I think that would keep them in.
