Extubated

Klaus extubated himself and they are keeping a close eye on him to see how he does.

Her husband has been at home, sick.

I'm so sorry, they have been through so much already!

He will never not get breastmilk. I'm too.. witchy... for that He got some crappy pedialyte the other day to see if he could keep fluids down in order to breastfeed (I dont get it either), and we have been on and off a feeding tube since yesterday. He just has really low energy. He's awake over there right now just quietly looking around, not really wanting to interact... but he did just get a good breastfeeding so we will see in a few hours how he's doing to see if he has the energy to eat well enough to satisfy them.

All in all, he's doing much better..

Oh Organic! Seems like all you ever do is live in NICU!

In a year you're gonna look back on this and be so glad it's all over! I'm so frustrated for you! It must be so scary! You're doing good mama. Just keep pushin through and give him lots of love-that's what he needs most. But don't forget that to care for another, you have to care for yourself first-or you have nothing to give. Take moments for yourself too!
