How is everyone doing with names? - Page 3

We think it's a boy, and if we're correct, he will be Leif. We're unsettled on a middle name, was going to be Andras after dh's grandfather, but now dh says he's not so sure . . .

If girl, I'm very partial to the name Isolde. When I mentioned it to dh last night he kind of shrugged, like "sure, why not".

We'll see.

Ok, Nili is out.

Johanna Sophia Eiser.

I hate choosing these names.

DH and I were just talking about names, suddenly I'm not happy with the two choices we have, I don't know why but I'm not.

I ask him for suggestions....he says "Darth" I gave him a look and then he says "It's better than Yoda"

I love him dearly but sometimes he can drive me up the wall.....where is that thread about petty annoyances?

I'd be annoyed too. "Yoda" is way better than "Darth" .

I concur! I'd much rather be Yoda.

I had approximately the same convo with DH last night when he shot down EVERY SINGLE NAME I came up with. I told him "ok, what do YOU want?"

"Hey you."

You can only discuss names with DP for about 5 minutes before he starts listing random objects in the room - "Cup! Vase! Pepperpot! What about Pepperpot?" - or picks up a random book & starts reading words out of that

We don't have any names, surprisingly enough. Not even middle names. Surname was picked but I'm having wobbles again - I really want to use my surname.

We had a breakthrough and I think we have solid names now!

My DH was like this for the longest time. I don't know what changed for him-- I think realizing that we'll have to send out a birth announcement without a name on it.
