Central FL area donor milk?

Hi there.

I gave birth to a lovely little girl a week ago and we're in the throes of a serious low supply issue. It wasn't entirely unexpected and were already doing what we can to increase the supply, and meeting regularly with the LC but as of now, we're going to run out of what we've already got before we know how well I'm doing with supply. We've already checked out Milk Share and are waiting to hear back, but if anyone has other ideas, or knows people with spare freezer stash that they aren't going to use/can't use, it would be a great help to us.

Thanks in advance.

Good luck! I wish I wasn't clear across the country from you :-/ and could send you some milk. Definitely Xpost this to the FL tribe board and... maybe Breastfeeding? Heck, post a link to it in TAO to get traffic! I'll bet there are mamas around who can help, if they just know you're in need.

Posted to the Florida board already. I hadn't thought about posting to Breastfeeding. I'm feeling kind of raw about anything relating to breastfeeding at the moment-kind of feeling all the failure buttons at once.

TAO?

TAO is talk amonst ourselves.

I'm sending out emails for you right now and will let you know when I hear anything. Pray my baby comes and I'll share.

I'm sending all my "go into labor" vibes your way.

If you're serious about sharing, please PM me.

I hope you get some responses soon. I know it's so hard, but please know that you're not a failure. PCOS wracks serious havoc on our bodies, and low supply is a reality for many of us, and it is absolutely NOT your fault.
