Help with baby sweater sizing

So I am making Elizabeth Zimmerman's February baby Sweater. I wanted it to be for a friend of mine that is pregnant, but I have no idea what age baby the sweater is going to fit. The pattern is really vague on sizing. It's turning out really cute, but I don't want to give her a sweater that will only fit her baby in the middle of the summer heat. It measures 20" in chest circumference measured just under the sleeves. I have no babies, and so nothing to compare it to. TIA

IIRC from discussions on other boards, that measurement will be about a 12mo size. Depending on the baby, though, it might fit at 6mos or 18mos. Larger clothes are nice to give as baby gifts because most people are drawn to the cutsie little bitty newborn/ 0-3mo sizes.

I'd say that would be wearable from 4-10 months, approximately- but I grow big babies.
