Can I go to the dentist?

I just realized I have an appointment at 11 today to have some cavities repaired. Can I really expect to go with my LO and a well behaved 5 year old have them be okay? am I nuts?!?

Of course I am! I must have been on crack thinking I could make that work. Boy-this logistics thing is kicking my butt...

I've been thinking the same thing. I broke a tooth in the first trimester and my dentist wouldn't work on it while I was pregnant, but now when am I gonna have time to get it fixed?! I figure I'll make an appointment in a month or two after DD has started taking an occasional bottle of pumped milk. That way, DH can watch the kids while I go.

i have to do this the second week we're back to the USA and DH won't be around so i plan to have a friend or two come to the dentist with me to be with the kids (As DS is having his teeth checked) and then have the baby looked after in case she wants to nurse (not sure how THAT is going to work).

i have been thinking it will be quite tricky logistics as well!
