After wondering for hours and hours whether my VBAC would be successful, I was delighted to have pushed my baby out.

I think I also thanked my midwife profusely and maybe told her that I loved her.

I also told my husband that he had never felt anything like that.

I said "there's my healthy girl, my healthy girl! I have been waiting so long to meet you!"
and then I said "oh wow, I cannot believe it" cause it all happened so fast (less than 3 hours) compared to 21 hours w/ my first born.

With my first two I always choked on my words, had a knot in my throat and was overwhelmed by tears of joy. My third I managed to whisper "hello baby" before I started bawling. I hope to give this one a little bit of my voice, tears or not when he arrives. I've always kinda held back before also, feeling kinda silly and self conscious in front of strangers in the hospital. I'm gonna let it all out this time
