A picky pants question

Thread Starter
I made some picky pants for a ddc swap and my partner has some questions. I made some for my dd once, but they weren't for use with cloth diapering. Does she need to lanolise them? They are 100% wool. I'm not sure how washing them works with cloth diapering. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if they are going to be used over a cloth diaper then I'd defiantly lanolize them

She can use regular old boob lanolin or buy something that smells pretty. I've done both with equal results!

I'm feeling really lazy right now, so I didn't type it out, but I did a quick google search and found a step by step with pics on a blog

You can either roll the soaker in a towel and step on it to remove extra water, or spin it out in a salad spinner, or even if you dare (which is what I do) spin the water out in the washer. Mine has a "spin/drain" cycle that takes about 3 min, I toss all my wet wool into there and set it to spin, it really gets tons of water out and then I air dry them, I've never had a soaker ruined this way, and they dry really fast for me.
