Editor of BabyTalk seems pro-breastfeeding (even NIP!)

http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-us&bran...fae087&from=05 She mentioned NIP, the WHO stat (BF up to 2 years), support at work, NIP laws, and benefits of BFing. I was kind of impressed. The only thing I didn't like was when she mentioned using cover-ups. The rest was pretty good, especially for an editor of a magazine that has so many formula ads in it.

ETA: She even said that she herself breastfed and the interviewer said she did, too.

It is not the magazines fault if formula companies purchase the most ad space though. Other non main stream companies could try to break not the main stream market and woo the ad space if enough of us demanded it/requested it.

I know. It just seemed unexpected that she would have such a passionate view of breastfeeding, especially breastfeeding in public. At one time in the interview, the woman said, "Wow, you're pretty passionate about this," and the editor said, "Yes, I am!" I would've expected her to be on the fence about it, like, "Eh, yeah, breastfeeding's good up until a certain age, but formula's just as good, too." I didn't expect her to get all fired up about it. It made me pretty happy.
