Found my lost garlic

So... about 2 weeks ago I put in a clove of garlic to prepare for my 2nd GBS test. I checked it at day 2 and it was hanging in there just fine. A few days later, I decided to take it out and couldn't find it. I tried several more days. I told the MW about it and she said she'd go looking this week if I couldn't find it, but it had most likely already come out. I was still tasting garlic so I wasn't sure. Finally this weekend I felt some clear movement of *something* in my vagina, then heard a tink of something hitting the toilet bowl. Yay! There it was, still looking as fresh as the day I put it in.

I never did! And I'm slightly horrified at the thought that it could still be in there, though I guess yours was in for two weeks, and that turned out okay!

Did you pass the second GBS test? I'm sure you posted, but I can't remember...

I don't exactly know how one is "supposed" to do this, but I was planning to take it out after a few days. But couldn't. The MW weren't concerned at all that it was still there after a week +.

No I'm still positive. I just found out yesterday at my appt. So I'll be doing hibiclens rinses until/if my water breaks.

Darn. On a positive note, the chance of babe getting infected is so so so small. My MW said that when her clients come out positive, she doesn't ask them to do anything but watch the baby afterward, and she's never seen one get GBS.

So knowing that, and with the Hibiclens as an extra precaution, I'm sure baby'll be fine .
