Anyone care to start a pool with me about who is going to be last? As of right now I am convinced it will be me! (only 40+1 today) I will DDDDC the last momma of our DDC as a prize

oohhh.. I was hoping you were gunna say "next" and I was gunna say pullleeaasse let it be mee.

But since you said last... yikes. I already had a breakdown this afternoon about a baseball game I won't get to go to and may not have time to trade in tickets for It will be the second one we missed, and a 3rd one coming up isn't looking too promising if I don't get a baby soon.....

I don't know if I want to be in a "last" pool.. I think if I bet on myself it will come true, and if I bet on someone else, I'll be last as punishment for being so mean :-P

I'll enter myself as a candidate for the last to go (also 40 +1 today). I was only 2 days late with my first, but he was still breastfeeding when I conceived this one and my midwife said that sometimes that makes things take longer. I had hoped to have the baby before my mother arrives, but she gets here tomorrow afternoon so I'm gradually giving up that hope...

perhaps we should make a rule that you can only nominate yourself!


<--- has earned title of "eternal pessimist" from DH today; he says my punishment will be to give birth May 5th. (my own birthday!)

yeah that!

but whatever....count me in. I feel like I've been pregnant forever and will remain pregnant forever, which seems like good enough reason to play the game w/ ya'll.

- i was totally thinking what xekomaya was thinking, you were asking who's going to be next and i was jumping in here to say *pleeeeeez me!* but as i'm already 41+2, i'd darn well better not be last!

but i'm super curious to see who is (it's so wrong of me, but i had to admit it )

I promised to shirk my pessimism and impatience for one day, so I am taking the kids to the zoo, an hour away....shall I tempt fate?

I say go for it.. I went 1 1/2 hour to help rake my grandparents yard... Told my dh if the babe wants to be born on the side of the highway with my 2 year old in the back seat of the car.. so be it... it will be OUT at least then!!

Me too. I'm already 41+5, but you all could get lucky and I could be stuck another week yet. :P Count me in!

mamas--I'm out of the running....I had my baby yesterday--a boy! (and I did cut the cord!)

I honestly wondered if I'd EVER stop being pregnant....
