Who do you buy yarn from on Etsy & HC?

I'm looking for some store suggestions on Etsy and Hyena Cart - who do you buy from? I am mainly looking for good wool for soakers & longies, but I would love a good sock yarn, too.

I have bought yarn from Western Sky Knits, Little Turtle Knits, and Family Pendragon on HC. I really want something from Mosaic Moon but I don't have the money right now.

for sock yarn I've gotten some from Hazel Knits and have been very happy with it. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5169054

On hyena cart for soaker yarn, gosh I think I've ordered from just about everyone there

My favorites are Wooly Wonders by Nada (though I haven't been able to catch anything in stock lately) http://hyenacart.com/woolywondersbynada/

Mosaic Moon http://hyenacart.com/MosaicMoon/

Ky Baby Knits- http://hyenacart.com/KyBabyKnits/

Little Turtle Knits- (though I ordered from her web site ) http://www.littleturtleknits.com/

and Three Irish Girls- http://www.threeirishgirls.com/

Those are the main ones I order from

I am currently mid-transaction (custom order) with UnionCenterKnits on etsy--she has some really pretty sock stuff and does worsted too. She is currently dying up a bunch of new colorways (some of them specifically for me!) She said she'll be stocking a bunch this weekend.

I also like laminathegreat.etsy.com She's a friend of mine as well as a crunchy MDC mama. She does most of her own spinning as well as dying, and has a variety of fibers (including angora from her own humanely treated rabbits) so I don't know wwhat her stock is like at the moment, but I do like her colorways too. :-)

If you visit http://mdcmoms.blogspot.com you can see a list of mdc moms on etsy, and there's oen called yarnit or something like that--I dont' knwo what she carries but I always like buying from MDC mamas when I can!

And lastly, i'll totally plug for a personal friend--she has recently started dying Alaskan colorways. She's not selling on etsy, but she does do custom orders for people. You can see her colorways here on her blog. I think they're so pretty!! She is on etsy and would probably be happy to work out a sale through there if you wanted, or just over email...I can vouch for her as trustworthy and the yarn is yummy!

She is in the UK, so not great if you're aiming for local but I LOVE Freyalyn Convo her if you're looking for yarn- I have a skein of her wensleydale sitting next to me and it's dreamy as owt.

For sock yarn on Etsy: Mind's Eye Yarns

Lucy is a shop owner and spinner. Since she started spinning and dyeing her own work for sale, she can't keep it in stock.

For the name and color, I have my eye on the Flames Of Heck sock yarn. If only I didn't have three other sock projects with yarn still waiting to be knit. I'm on a stash yarn diet.

I really like Selah (www.hyenacart.com/selah), Dashing Dachs (www.hyenacart.com/dashingdachs), and Three Irish Girls, which has already been mentioned. All three owners are wonderful women and dye beautifully!
