Anyone cd'ing? What's in your NB stash?

I gave cloth diapering a half-hearted attempt w/ my first and gave up, but I'm determined to make it work this time. Assembling my stash has taken the full force of my nesting instinct and become somewhat of an obsession . So far, I have:
Diapers
1 kissaluv size 0 fitted
4 kissaluv sm contours
18 Chinese Prefolds
18 Diaperap hemp/organic cotton fitted, size 1
2 Growing Greens one-size fitted
2 Tiny Tush one-size fitted
1 Happy Heiny's one-size pocket
1 Haute Pocket one-size pocket
1 Mommy's Touch one-size pocket
2 Bum Genius 3.0 AIO

Covers
1 Thirsties x-small
4 Proraps nb
3 Green Earth nb (pending)
6 Diaperap hemp/organic cotton small
1 Bummis Super Whisper wrap small

I also have a starter pack of gDiapers and one package of refills. At the very least, I'm hoping to use the covers and liners with the prefolds, but I may sell them.

I still feel like I'm not ready, but I don't know what I'm missing. Well, the Snappis, pail liners and wetbags -- accessories. I did make about 60 cloth wipes today and yesterday. Half flannel/flannel, half flannel terry.

What about you? What do you have in your stash? What do you wish you had?

Woman: you scare me!

Well, actually I'm in awe of how organised you are. Here is what I have so far:

3 newborn fitteds (mama bird pattern, home made)
yes, it's '3' not '30', quite right

About 20 (have to count them) prefolds, some of which will be turned into fitteds those coming weeks.

And I ordered 10 snappis which will go to my moms address in Germany and at some point hopefully reach me here in Thailand...

I have to say in my defense that we will probably be doing just fine with the prefolds in this hot climate and planning to do EC.
But I wanted to buy some covers yesterday and the girls in the baby-department had never heard of them. Might have to sew some of those aswell.

So far mine is full of variety since I don't know her size or potty potential.

6 Infant Unbleached Chinese PF
6 Flats
5 Kissaluvs Sz1
3 Kissaluvs Sz 0
1 SOS OV fitted
1 Swaddlebee OV sz 1 fitted
1 Mudpie Sz1 fitted
1 Geny OS fitted

1 SM Starbunz AIO
1 SM BerryPlush AI2
3 SM Dreameze AIO

1 SM Fuzzi Bunz
1 SM GAD

3 SM Geny Covers
2 SM Bummis SWW
1 SM Aristocrat

3 Snappis

So that is it until Baby gets here and I know what will work.

I just counted them up yesterday as I was curious myself!

Diapers:
10 fuzzi-bunz plus 15 hemp inserts (bought before they made the microfiber ones)
1 bumgenious 3.0 (I like this AIO design, but am not sure I'm going to like the velcro)
14 infant prefolds
1 dozen infant contours
23 newborn fitted dipes
14 infant fitted dipes
3 fitted kissaluvs
5 misc. fitted
= 8 DOZEN!!! Holy crap!!

Covers:
3 Nikky's
1 prorap
4 BSWW's
3 nylon pull-ups
2 swim dipes (bumpies)
5 cotton bumpies
2 fleece polarbabies
4 misc fleece w/snaps or velcro
2 pull-up knitted (by me) soakers
2 pull-up knitted sleep (by me) sacks

And this just includes the stash I loaned to my SIL last winter! I didn't loan her any of my wool covers. I have many Biobottoms and Aristocrats I need to dig up.

I'm thinking of making new cloth wipes. I still have some left from 6 years ago, but thought some new ones would be nice. I like really thin flannel ones so they fit in the handy travel wipes container!

Having never done this before either, I'm starting small and varied!

4 Prowraps covers
2 G diaper covers
1 dz prefolds
5 hand sewn fitteds (though more to come once work slows down after this week!)
2 Kushies AIO
2 WAHM pockets
1 dzn. infant inserts

1 pkg. 7th Gen sposies newborn size (just in case the cloth I have is a disaster!)

I plan to order more prefolds, some contoured dipes, and a few more covers for the newborn stage, and I think one of those sprayers to spray off the poo. And of course I need to get my butt to the sewing machine, tick tock!

Boy do I need help. I have 2 doz organic prefolds I bought at target yesterday and nothing else. Thinking of getting a starter kit from one of the forum sites, since I don't know how to build up such a grand supply....

Wow, ladies, I'm impressed! My newborn stash is pretty pathetic. That said, DD didn't stay in newborn dipes very long and went into small pockets at like 3-4 weeks. I'm guessing this baby will be the same, so I have a hard time justifying a huge stash for such a short time. Most of my diapers are more conventional brands.

This is what we used last time:
8 premie prefolds
6 Kissaluvs Size 0
3 Swaddlebees pockets
2 BSSW Newborn, 2 small
2 proraps newborn, 2 small
4 gdiaper covers (not inserts)

Somehow I got by with all of that. I think we must have been doing laundry every 8 minutes for that first month, we never ever used a landfill diaper.

I have 15 small FB and 18 medium FB (which my daughter is currently wearing). I also have 3 BG 2.0 OS and 1 new BG 3.0 OS. I'm thinking I'm going to need some more pockets since they'll be 'sharing' the BG OS. Plus I'm concerned that DD #1 might still be in the mediums when DC #2 grows out of the smalls...DD1 isn't growing fast now but she was out of smalls at 4 months. Don't know if DC2 will have the same growth curve or not.

My newborn wants list:
Bummis Super Brite Diaper Cover Green Newborn, maybe also small
Swaddlebees Limited Edition ABC wrap in Butter/chocolate
Thirsties diaper cover XSmall celery or melon
WonderWraps One-size
6-12 more premie Indian prefolds
2 Snappis

I'm also working on my pockets list.

I have (left over from when I had James)

30 kissaluv size 0 fitteds
4 small prowraps
(waiting for my sister to send these to me in the mail - I used them, then sent to her for her son, and now I'm getting them back. Her second baby is due at the end of September so I'll return them to her when I'm done with them!)

24 motherease one-size
various covers ranging from small to large (3-4 of each size)

18 sugarbritches fitted diapers size Med
(these fit James better than the MEOS - he is so skinny those were always saggy on him, but I have held on to them b/c they might fit him now and they might fit baby #2)

6 indian cotton prefolds (backups in case I don't get around to washing when I was supposed to)
3 dozen FuzziBunz (although I can't locate 8 of them)
1 dozen Bum Genius
Bunch of Kissaluvs
Couple Whisper Wraps
Few prefolds
1 Aristrocrats soaker

The only thing new added to our stash (since DS) is 2 dozen of the FBs, on loan from a very awesome friend.

3 NB sherpa Loveybums
1 Sm OC Loveybums
1 NB Pattynap

1 Sm LHC dip-dyed velour fitted, very droolably soft
1 Sm Peewell
2 sz1 Cricketts
1 OC SOS

AIOs:
I have 2 Komfy Kids OS stuffable AIOs w/ cotton velour inners, on the way.

Oh and the baby. I definitely need the baby!!

Lately, I've been working on the small to medium stash. I'm almost done w/ that.

I order 15 Fuzzi Bunz with contoured terry inserts, plus I found 9 used FB on Craigslist. I had hoped to fill in the rest with a variety of things from consignment stores, but so far I've only found 3 Under the Nile fitted smalls.
I have a mixed lot as I got most of my stuff used (not sure if I am going to commit to CD full time yet)

What I have or is on its way
12 brand new Euro 4x8x4 prefolds
10 used prefolds, some tie dyed
6NB assorted covers, all different brands, same style with velcro on the front
4 AIO's
1 poupond fitted dipe
4 snappis
20 cloth wipes
roll of disposable liners (got them free)
5 nighttime doublers

Still need to get
a pail of some kind
a wet bag for the diaper bag
Some pins, incase I hate the snappis

If I decide I am going to do this full time I think I am going to invest in this set to get me to toddlerhood. My friend IRL used one set for 2 kids so it seems like a good investment.

How many cloth wipes do you actually need?

I started CD when #3 was 5 months old so I bought brand new for this little guy:

6 bG 3.0 (I have 12 more that #3 is using)
12 KL0
4 Dappi Nylon pull-on pants
2 Bummis Super Brite Size small
1 sm Fuzzibunz (used that a friend gave me )

I have 2 dozen Infant prefolds, some of which I turned into pre-fitted dipes. 2 snappis, some Gerber pull on pants, 4 Bumkins size small covers and some small fitteds that I made. Need to find where I put those last two things...

I've been cloth diapering for over 4 years now. So yeah. I've got a fair amount of stuff anyway.

For this kid? I snagged 11 small used FB (because I sold all the smalls when last kiddo outgrew them!) and ordered two adorable little Very Baby pocket diapers with uber-cute fleece inside. May order/find more if I have the money or find a good deal. I like the ease of velcro with the chicken legs that stay stuck in the upright position for a while.

Besides that, I've got medium FB, lots of bumGenius (which as I work on finding a few more diapers for the 2yo will mostly be more for the babe as the bG are on their last legs and a few are even wicking - I doubt I'll be able to sell them when we're done ).
Dozens of wipes - like in the 40-50-some range, but I've also got two in dipes.
Lots of wet bags.
At least half dozen snappis.
Infant prefolds.
Premium prefolds.
Joey Bunz and preemie prefolds as inserts (have to put the folded preemie on top of the hemp because my boys are/were firehoses and hemp doesn't absorb quick enough for them). Also use the preemie prefolds for littler messes around the house or while out and about (they scrunch up so nice and small in the diaper bag!).
Random woolie goods - soakers, longies, shorties. Some crocheted by me in the past, some knitted by a friend in the past, a few hand-me-downs from my Grandma's old stuff.

I *wish* I could find some large Knickernappie Disposanots to try on the 2yo (he hasn't figured out snaps).
I *wish* I could afford a ton more VB pockets as I love the fit of those suckers - on both my skinny 4.5yo who potty trained in August, on my chunkier now-2yo (had some small and XS VB AIO's for him way back when, those are long since sold) and so on. But, I'm doing what I can with what I've got.
I *wish* I could find some more used small Joey Bunz for less than $5 - I can get new ones for $4.95 plus shipping at one particular store. :

Jazzmin ~ Check Happy Tushies. Sounds like she may be right up your alley. My wet bags are 2-4yo, and they're just modified wonder bags. Have held up fabulous, and we even use 'em out swimming and such.

NB ProRaps - 7
NB Fleece - 2

SM Fleece - 1
SM Cot'n Wrap - 1
SM BSWW - 1
SM Proraps - 7
SM HomeMade - 1

Prefolds, ETC:

Longies - 2
NB Prefolds - 15
Infant Prefolds - 17

AIO's, Pocket's, Fitted:

SM HomeMade AIO 3
SM HomeMade Pocket - 5
M HomeMade Fleece Fitted - 1
SM CareBears Fitted - 2
XS HomeMade AIO - 2
S HomeMade AIO - 4
Size 0 Kissaluvs - 4

I didn't realize what all I had until I went in and counted it all a few minutes ago. Between the NB and SM we'll be good to go for a while. DS is still in M but very close to outgrowing those, reguardless we have lots of M covers and bigger prefolds too.

Pretty soon I'll have to pick which diapers to take to the birthing center with me to be the first ones DD will wear!

It seems quite nice. A fitted dipe with a built in liner, velcro on the front. Made of super soft flannel. The shipping was nuts from the ebay supplier though. If I buy more from her, I am going to ask her to reduce the shipping.

Wow, you mamas sure are on the ball with everything... I'm not getting very much support in wanting to cloth diaper, apparently, I'm going to change my mind about it....: I don't even have a CD stash yet, the only diapers I've got are a 40 pack of Pampers Swaddlers because "you'll need them while you're recovering because the last think you'll want to do is laundry"

I'm really tempted to buy the Mother-ease system that JustVanessa posted the link for, but it's not in the budget right now..
uh yeah, I'm a slacker!

I have a ton of prefolds, I'd say atleast 3 dozen if not more, I never really counted...
I have some fitteds, I think I have 4 terrycloth one size ones, and a friend sent me these flannel ones that look small, I think theres 6 of those.
Currently I have 2 small covers. I NEED covers. Badly.

On my registry I have 12 small FBs and the Bummi's "starter kit" box. I make big babies so I think I'll be ok starting in smalls....I hope I atleast get some covers...
Mediums I'm pretty set, since we started with DD at 4 months, its just the newborn stage that I have nada for...
I have a ton of diapers - enough to cloth a new baby full time into mediums but I'm going to do new diapers for this baby because I have better fabrics that work better in my washer and on my babies.

But I have a lot to sell off in the meantime. Lol!

What I know I have is 24 infant prefolds, 12 premie prefolds, 5 snappis, 4 newborn covers, about a hundred small covers, several wool soakers and longies and shorties and more to come, at least 18 small fitteds (and more to be made by me b/c I like to be picky), 9 newborn fitteds (and more to be made).

I know this bean will be fluffy bunned fine, I just hope I can contribute a lot myself b/c I have a whole stack of gorgeous fabric begging to be on cute little buns. If nothing else, I have my other stashes of diapers if I can't get anything done this month, but I hope I can just go nuts and do what I really want... which is make a new stash of newborns, smalls and then larges for my son who's almost 2. I can fill in the mediums in the next few months if I don't get to them - but I already have a pretty good stash from our youngest.

I want to see if I can do almost exclusive wool this time - I love my woolies!!
