It's a....

boy!!

Born at home at 1:20 AM, April 30
8 lbs 7 oz
Labour was so similar to my first, it is almost eery...first time around was 12 hours, with 3.5 hours from water gushing (it had been leaking a little before that) to birth. This time - 12 hours (from early labour when I posted the thread about sending wait til Saturday vibes), 3 hours from water breaking (no early leak this time) to birth! Of course, pushing was a lot faster the second time around!!

We haven't made a final call on a name but here is a pic taken a few minutes ago

rachelsmama, if you had your baby or are in the process, that would be four April/May babies I know here in NS being born within 24 hours of each other...yours, mine, DH's cousin's and my BFF's brother's in Truro!! One of my midwives says it's the rainy weather....she had one birth Sunday and is off to another birth today.

Oh congratulations! How wonderful! Seems like those babies heard us yesterday and are eager to make a final push for some April birthdays (and diamond birthstones for their mamas!)
