Has anyone pierced their own nose? If so, how?

Ouch, do yourself a favor and get it done by a pro at a respected studio. you know with autoclaved needels and all. I got mine done and I seriously didn't feel it.
One of my sis's did her's and it got nasty infected.

Thank you for replying. I was really mostly curious about it

I had mine done at a shop and it was still infected until the time I took it out. Yuck.

Hypothetically you could do it with a sterilized needle. That's all that is going on in a piercing shop. You may have problem finding a needle that is thick enough.

If money is an issue, you might be able to find a piercer who has an apprentice who will pierce your nose for practice. I have never had any problems with piercings done by apprentices.

I would get a peircer to do it too. If you go in it the wrong angle, you get a keloid.

I don't advocate doing it yourself...but I did mine with a needle and a tampon...fifteen years ago...I'm so old

The infection was ugly.
