Just thought I'd post letting you know I got an email today that they are having a sale for the handdyed is $6.50 and undyed is $6 if you order by May 11th I know there are a couple coops going right now and I can't recall the pricing exactly for those, but I suspect the sale is close if not better pricing since you can have it shipped straight to you and no coop fees

Here I have been so good as to avoid the co-ops. Alas, I feel the wool beckoning me....

What's the site link?

I looked at the 100PureWool site and it doesn't say anything about a sale?

Thanks!

They sent it via email You just have to email them the order and they'll send you a paypal invoice for billing

Isn't it the shipping that kills you when you buy directly from 100purewool, though? Is there an optimum no. of skeins to buy to get the best shipping price?

yeah, I guess its not like some places with free shipping thats for sure. But with coops you still have to pay some shipping PLUS a coop fee anyway, I just put in an order for 6 skiens with shipping came to $55 so IMO thats really not bad for a sweaters worth of yarn.

That's really not bad. You pd $9.17 / skein, which compared to a lys, is a steal. But the last purewool coop purchase I made ended up being $6.63, and that included ship-to-me. I know it's hard to wait, but coops are the way to go! Plus, did you know that you can order any color in any yarn type, and even get solids to match your colorway? I am so in love with purewool coops. And the yarn is tdf. If you haven't tried the 3-ply, you should.

Thanks for breaking this down. I too love coops, but if the price was going to be better this way I was going to try to swing it. I need to start finding coops closer to me though, I tend to buy from people who live across the country, raising my stm
