I think I've been stalking you lately.
I'm waiting until after DD2 turns 2y in Oct to start TTC. I just got AF back so I will spend the next 6 months charting and figuring out what my cycle is like. DD2 took a year to conceive so I'm actually glad to have a bit of time to prepare before the actual TTC takes place. |

bellymama, what about your birthday are you wanting to do that you wouldn't be able to do while preg? Drinking and such? I actually found out I was pregnant on my 30th birthday (at which time I was also on my honeymoon) and I have to say, nothing else could have topped that!!
If you are waiting just so you can party, go party over the next couple of weeks, call it an early 30th gift to yourself, and get busy with getting pregnant!! ![]() PS: I *LOVE* your sig. Love it. |

Brown Lioness maybe if we are extremely fortunate we will be in the same ddc some day!
akaisha I love the name! I have always loved the name Grace, Everleigh is new to me but it is beautiful. Big hugs bellymama. It is so hard when there is a new baby around. My friend from my daughters ddc just annouced she is pregnant on her blog. Who wants to have a pity party with me? |

Can I jump in here?
btw I love your list of names akaisha- I have a DS named Lochlan! ![]() I am starting to feel the itch to be pregnant again. My son will be 2 in a couple weeks and it was our original plan to ttc this July, BUT that was before the terrible toddler phase started. I find my self contantly frustrated so adding another baby to the mix might not be a good idea right now. |

Some days next year seems terribly far away, and others I am able to see all the positives for waiting.
but 4 years feels to long.
We live in the boonies too but not too far away from the coast.

:Hi we just recently decided that we're probably sure we want to start ttc in Dec/Jan. Well actually, were thinking of having my iud removed in Dec/Jan, and then we'll see how it goes. Our dd is 3 now, so we're hoping for her to be close to 4 when we get pg. For some reason, it really scares me to have to plan this babe. With dd is was completely unexpected, but everything turned out well. If we hadn't accidently had dd I don't think that we'd have decided to have our first for a long time. Anyway, I'm rambling...but I am officially wanting but waiting. ![]() |

same thing! both the kids are completely unexpected and its KILLING me to have to wait! planning is a totally different ball game...and on the flip side as well i have NO CLUE when i would have actually been able to start having kids if ds hadn't come along!

It's so hard to not plan every aspect of getting pregnant. Since we have to plan the whole thing, it's so hard to not get caught up in the little details, like exactly when to start trying, what zodiac sign should we try for (joking, but the thought has come up), what months of the year do I want to be pregnant for, etc. When we have saved the amount of money we want to have saved, why shouldn't we wait a bit longer and have MORE saved? What if it takes 6 months or more to get pregnant? Should we start 6 months BEFORE we really want to get pregnant? What if we can't decide on the donor? Should we start "shopping" for him now? I'm such a planner, anyway, I just wish with everything inside of me that we could have a surprise! Hoooweee! Now, that would be a headline!
