I just don't know what thread I belong on! As I mentioned in the "Predictions" thread, I am currently on the pill, but having some weird things going on... maybe someone has some thoughts?
DH and I have decided to wait until next May to start TTC #1 even though I am ready now. I respect his feelings and reasons and accepted that. Last Saturday I started feeling crappy and sick to my stomach- thought it was dinner- Sunday I was spotting- Monday I was spotting and had cramps.
AF is due to arrive one week from today. I O'ed around June 30-July 2 and we DTD several times in that time frame. (reminder, I am on the pill and have taken it perfectly for 8 years, except I always insisted we needed a condom too, as I was not ready for #1! This is the first condom-less, pill only month) That would, I think, put me about around 8 dpo?
Today I am barely spotting and have a tiny bit of cramping. I have some HPT on hand, so I thought, WTH, I will do it. Did it about 1 hr ago and it was what most people would figure BFN, but there was the faintest line that i could see in the right light. I have four more tests here... when you do guys think I should try again? The main reason for my concern is, that in the miraculous 1% chance that I might be pregnant I don't want to take remaining 5 birth control pills in my pack. I understand some of those symptoms could be from the pill, but they are not normal for me.
Any thoughts?

I just went off BC pills the middle of May. I was having the same symptoms you are. The last 3 months I was on the pills I had those symptoms. So I finally just went off of them. I was on the pill for 1 year. What pill were you on? I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo...Hate them!!!
Anyways- If its any help I had the same symptoms. My GYN said its just the hormones in the pills.

Yeah, I hate them too! I may have to go off them as well if this keeps going on... if that's what it is, cause it's not good. Anyways, I am on Microgestin FE. I have actually had good results with the side effects of this one and have been on it for quite a while. I told DH that I was going to go off it after the last pack, but, if you can believe it, he wanted to have a some condom-less sex before I went off them and he had to be more careful and wear condoms again. So, I am still on them..
I think I am finally ready for #1 and keep hoping that there will be a miracle before next May!

Well FF is currently jumping the gun a bit. It originally said I Od the 2nd of August - then it moved it to the 5th. Then ...it decided to tell me I will O the 31st of July! lol... Since my period has not come yet though, (as it said it would for the O on the 31st of July) - I think its going to move it back to its original place once period does come (as I personally predicted)... So I should O at least in the first week of August. Which makes me TTC slightly sooner. Because if I dont catch that eggy - I dont O until September! (long cycles!!! lol). But its perfect you see..it will make me due end of April/Beginning of May!
It was correct about my O in June though... It is just adjusting to the EPO - which is doing its job and has not only given me great EWCM - but has lengthened my LP!!!

I just have to point out how jealous I am of all of you who's waiting time is growing shorter!!! Dh is finally getting on board with TTC, but it still looks like next summer for a spring 2009 baby....which means waiting another whole year. I keep pointing out to him that TTC now would still get us that spring baby, hehe...just 2009.

Glad I found this thread...I have three more cycles, TTC in Sept. I have been counting down months for 8 months...glad to be within reach, finally! But nothing can stop me from looking at diapers, figuring out names & driving DH crazy

Me too! On the TTC, names, diapers, etc. Well, I wanted to TTC in September, but I think I may have to choose between late August or early October to start trying (somewhat long cycles). Ideally I want a summer '09 baby while I'm not teaching but still on school insurance for the whole pregnancy. Isn't it great to finally be getting close?

Ok, well, I know that I am on the pill (as I posted yesterday) and am proabaly imagining all these symptoms, but I am hoping for a miracle! (even though we are not TTC until next year)
So, to get it out of my head, I took a 2nd HPT about an hour ago. BFN.
So in summary...
Today= 9DPO, CD23
Spotting & cramping Sunday/Monday
Lower back pain Tuesday
FRER HPT Tuesday PM- probably evap., but either way, a faint line within 3 minutes.
Equate HPT Wednesday PM- BFN
AF expected next Tuesday
Confession- will probably do the rest of my HPT's (I think I have 3 left- 2 FRER and 1 Equate)

We are definately waiting till October 2009 to TTC

I got a new job in February and I am also finishing up my 2nd Bachelors in Elementry Education. I want to time our next pregnancy so that I am pregnant during or after my student teaching so hopefully we will have a summer/fall 2010 baby!

how do you know you O'd (maybe i missed a previous post). you don't normally O while on the pill, that's one of the main premises behind hormonal BC. obviously it's not foolproof though, or my little bro wouldn't be here

I have been obsessing on this one for some reason. I have this "vision" that we are going to have 1 more girl and 2 more boys.....(I dont know why, I just do) I even have names thought out....well 1st names...middle names are harder to come up with...
