Wanting but Waiting tribe - Page 14

i've been looking for liquid prenatals but can't find them! i have a rx but it was just a suggestion to my doc. i would like to get a rx for any prenatals that i am going to take but i don't think flintstones are covered. those things are $5+ a bottle from what i can find and that would mean THREE of us in the house taking them.

i also HATE the horse pills. i am to sensative and took them for only 1/2 my pg with ds and 2 weeks with dd. i need to take something though!

oh and banana you can have my last 10 lbs. they are the begrudingly hard ones to loose so they'll stick to you real well!

course it might help if i exercise.

Try looking at sams club for flinstones. Thats where I buy mine. It was much cheaper than walmart. And since you have so many taking them the large quantity wont be a problem.

I cant help with that because I have never tried them...But I have heard different people tell me that the off brand of flinstones at walmart taste the same. But from personal experience I dont know.

There she is... a few days late lol...

Bring on my last cycle...hopefully¬!!!!!!!!

Check out my new blog in my sig!
ann your blog is nice, I keep trying to start one of my own but I never know what to write.

My current cycle is a bit wonky I O'd on CD 12 which is a few days early for me.I think it is because I didn't take my vitamins, nor did I eat well the last couple of weeks due to a foot injury and not being able to get about well. Oh well My predicted O date for TTT next cycle is Aug 5. If I O then My TWW will end on DH's B-day. I think getting pregnant would be a great 30th birthday present.

I look forward to seeing all of the August ladies on the one thread. I will probably migrate over there when AF arrives around the 22nd.

Ok ladies, so here is what I am changing/doing to make myself healthier in the next few months before BFP. :

* Drinking 2.2 liters of water a day (got a water jug at walmart and that is the size of it so I know I have to drink it all by the evening)
* Switching to make ice tea with Green tea instead of regular lipton and also using 3/4 cup of sugar instead of 1 cup of sugar in the tea. (cant go any less cause dh likes sweet tea )
*Switched from milk chocolate to dark chocolate
*Stopped eating so much beef, pork. . . .started cooking with more fish, shrimp, chicken, turkey meat. Dh likes turkey "hamburger" in stuff I make better than beef hamburger.
*Started exercising on my gazelle 15 minutes a day every day (hard for me cause I have no motivation)
*Stopped drinking pop- a few diets here and there but never more than one a week.
*Started a daily regimine of taking my vitamins (have been slacking in this in the past) and also started taking folic acid.
*Stopped buying potato chips and started eating pretzel thins and tortilla chips with salsa instead
*Started eating fruit and veggies with every meal instead of mac and cheese and package rice...etc. .(ok so I still use a package rice every once in a while but mostly I try to use fresh/or/frozen veggies ,sweet potatoes and fruit.)

Ok...now I put all this on here so I cant go back on my word and slack :-)

Can I join you all? I want to be TTC but I have not yet regained my cycles from going off hte BCP. I was on it for 9 years and it took my sister a year to get her cycles back after being on it for that long... My Doc ran all sorts of blood tests, everything came back "normal" *whatever that means!* and she wants my body to work itself out, without provera etc. Anyways, I feel like I would be calmer here then in the TTC bc I really cant TTC without cycles!!! So I am definitely wanting, but waiting

I would like to join in here too. My name is Jenn and DH and I are waiting to TTC until November. We had a baby Jaden who was born early at 23 weeks in June and he didn't survive. I would love to TTC sooner but we are waiting to give my body and our hearts some time to heal, also because we are moving in October and want to get set up in our new place and with a perinatologist before we conceive.

Have you thought of using Xylitol or somesuch? Just as sweet as sugar, all natural, 2/3 the calories, and it doesn't hurt your teeth! Oh, and it doesn't change your blood sugar levels! It's expensive, though...I'm getting ready to buy a bulk package online, because I can't afford $8 for half a pound at my local natural foods store

ETA: There are two downsides to xylitol...First, if you use too much, it will give you diarrhea. Second, it is poisonous to dogs. VERY poisonous to dogs. A single xylitol-sweetened cookie can kill a medium-sized dog. Please be careful using it if you do get it.

i wish it took awhile for my cycles to come back, the break would have been nice, but that's only cause we're not TTC for a few years. if i wanted a baby now that would obviously suck. here's hoping everyone waiting for their cycles gets them back soon!!

Ok, I'm totally in this tribe. I'm desparate to be pregnant again... but right now, w/2 toddlers in the house... I can't imagine trying to juggle 3 toddlers, or for that matter, two toddlers and a baby. We're waiting... um, 5 years? if at all? I dunno. I have this weird desparation to be pregnant again, though... and I totally miss the newborn phase
