Interresting to find out!

Did your cycle change after you had a baby?
Did it change after pregnancy - for those who have lost a baby?
Did it not change?
Did it get shorter?
Did it get longer?
etc

Mine was 30 days long before I had my son.
It is now 35 days long.

So mine has changed!

By golly, yes!

Prior to DS1, my periods were irregularly spaced and heavy. After his birth, they regulated to every 34 days without fail, and they got shorter. I got the Mirena after DS2, so I don't know if the trend continued (No periods with this thing; I don't know if I like that or not).

Oh yes. Every 28 days before DD1, with O around day 14, after DD1 my cycle was everywhere. Very short LP, I often didn't O until day 20 or later. I've only had one AF with DD2 (1.5y old) so I am curious what it will be like this time.

Did your cycle change after you had a baby? Yes. And no. Before I got pregnant, my cycles were typically 31 days, give or take a day. After the baby was born I went 16 months without a period. When it returned, it was initially lighter and shorter. It's back to normal now (~25 months PP) but it varies from month to month. Some months it's 28 days, some it's 32 days. I'm assuming sleep disruptions are delaying ovulation, which in turn delays my period.

The biggest change though was the lack of cramps beforehand. I used to have awful cramps but when my period first returned, there were NO cramps at all. It was wonderful! But slowly they've returned some, and now come with a bizarre lead cervix feeling. Seriously. My cervix just hurts. No clue why. But the cramps still aren't as severe as they used to be and for that I'm very thankful.

Yes, mine was 24 - 26 days before the twins were born. The ones I have had after them (and also after Rivka) have been 30 - 31)

after my periods came back after the birth of my daughter (now three yrs old) they were just as before. nothing had changed. but earlier this year i had a miscarriage and they haven't been the same since. sometimes i skip one, sometimes they are only two days long.
i don't know if that kind of thing happens a lot- but i'd say yeah, major hormone changes happen all over the place.

Nope. Didn't change after any of my miscarriages. After DD it took a while to regulate, yes, but was still a LONG LP (16-18 days) and ovulating between CD 14-17. Childbirth didn't lessen the pain at all either like so many people told me it could. Cramps still felt like hell, bleeding just as heavy, just as long, etc. (except for my few anovulatory cycles before I started O'ing again at 10.5 months PP...those were heaven...short, light, painless)
