I've been having mild to moderate contrax for most of the day. They started off 30 min apart and are now right around 15.

I am so unprepared (as in my diaper shower is this Sunday! I have no diapers for this kid! My house is a wreck. I am packing my suitcase and the babe's stuff as we speak).

Worst of all my parents will be here any minute (they are back in town visiting my uncle in the hospital)... and my dad is so paranoid that he's going to want me at the hospital asap, something I do not want to do.

Although my friend and doula has offered that we go to her house and just tell my parents we're going to the hospital. She's awesome.

DH is coming home early because he basically couldn't stand the suspense.

In a way I hope it's pre-labor (since he'd be early and all the being unprepared and the parents being here). In another way it's hard to deny that the possibility of holding him in my arms sooner rather than later is pretty darn attractive. I'm so ready to meet this little person.

Send me good vibes, although I'm not sure which variety I'm really hoping for.

I've been having contractions 9-15 minutes apart for over a week now. Has your water broken? If not, I wouldn't worry about it or even start to think about the hospital.

That being said, I know exactly what you mean. I'm at the same exact point you are, and I want to meet this kid!!

My water has NEVER broken until the pushing....so I don't know if that's even a sign of anything in most women??? Not sure though....

Hoping things go as you and your baby wish....maybe s/he can hold on a little longer-at least til you get and wash your dipes! Oh well, there's always 7th Generation for a couple of days???!!!!

I wish I was holding a baby right now.

My contraxs stayed mild to moderate all night long. I took a shower and went to bed around one. I was able to sleep after that.

Had an appt with my MW this morning, cervix is soft but has yet to dilate. She said she predicted "soon, but not this wkend." Which is good, because then I might actually get some diapers before I get the baby.
