My daughter was born this morning at 2:43 AM in a whirlwind, surprise unassisted birth 
:. I would say I hit active labor around 12:30 PM, was in the birth pool by 2 AM, went through transition in 3 or 4 contractions and pushed my beautiful daughter out in three contractions :. My mw had just managed to put her shoes on and had only been in the car about 4 minutes when she was born 
(dh was on the phone with her). Wow, what a different birth from last time! (36 hours!!)
She was 8 lb 4 oz and 20 3/4 inches long. And everyone is totally shocked that it was a girl!!! She is nursing great ... in fact she's side-lying, nursing and sleeping right now.
I had a few tears, not surprising given that it felt like giving birth to a freight train!! But nothing serious and no stitches needed.
I'm feeling great and ready to sleep. I will try to get pictures up in the next day or two.
