I am having problems finding one that works. Any suggestions?
I apologize if this post is redundant; I imagine this has been discussed before.

This is the best stuff!!

It is the only all natural deodorant that I've found that truly works without breaking my armpits the hell out.

She also has a deodorant guarantee that's pretty awesome:

I also really love her lipbalm, and she offers a deodorant/lipbalm discount package that also comes with a coupon for 15% off of your next purchase.

I use the crystal, very cheap and lasts forever!

I recently been using Kiss My Face Liquid Rock with Lavender and it works good too. I wanted to try it out b/c I really want to get my mother to quit using regular deodorant b/c her sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

I use alcohol when I'm at home, Funk Butter when I go out (because it absorbs).

Currently I'm a Funk Butter user, but that Pit Putty from Bubble and Bee looks pretty tempting too.....

Another for Funk Butter

I've been using Crystal roll on for a few months now and love it. Dh even switched to it recently!

I just mix equal parts baking soda and coconut oil. Works great, and supercheap!

I just dab a drop or two of lavander oil in each pit, neat. It has a tendency to dry out the skin when used neat (making it perfect for this) and I haven't had any issues with odor.

I mix lemon juice and water 3:1 with a little bit of olive oil and tea tree oil in a spray bottle. Shake it up and spritz it on.

I have used the Crystal brand and it has worked great for me. I've tried the spray, the roll-on, and the original crystal. The original one lasts FOREVER, and is a great value. I think it's supposed to work best when you apply it straight out of the shower. The only time it irritates me, is occasionally after shaving my pits.

5% Lavender Oil, 15% water, 80 % alcohol

We just sprinkle bicarb and rub it in a bit,,, either dry or after a shower. Works wonderfully, and the proof of that is 17yr DS who is a carpenter and used to get ewwww while going through the puberty changes. Once he switched to bicarb, no more B.O. And the wonder of it is that even when he's already a bit stinky, if we're out somewhere, the bicarb seems to take it away, not just keep it away.
Only thing is it leaves white circles on dark clothes. They wash out, but look awful when you're wearing them.
So, I'm watching here with interest to see what to use with dark clothes. The crystal ones just don't seem to last on me.
Also I've been reading in the news about some of the commercial brands mentioned here, that they've been found to contain carcinogens, and some of these are supposedly reputable brands that people have trusted for years. Bit scary.

Wow! I had no idea that people would have so many clever suggestions. I am going to try the lavender oil idea first just because I have that on hand.

Hasn't stained yet... I've been using it for about 6 months. I tried plain baking soda and it left white spots on everything, but with the coconut oil it stayed on and is less irritating. Just make sure you pat it on instead of rubbing it in--the baking soda is too abrasive for me if I rub it too much. I just mix up a couple of tablespoons at a time and keep it in a little jar. It doesn't take much, so that lasts a long time.

I use the crystal spray it's been working well. DH didn't like it cause he says it doesn't make you smell good. so I just added some EO to it for smell.

I've been doing this for a while now. First used just coconut oil by itself and that stained lil oil spots on some clothes and somedays, it just didn't seem to work. So I started mixing it with baking soda and no more stains, no more funk lol

I, too mix some up, keep it in a small tin in the bathroom. Lasts a long time.

I don't use anything!

When I wash my pits in the shower with baking soda instead of soap, as long as my shirt(s) are natural fibers, I don't get stinky!
And I only shower every other day.

I've never heard of Funk Butter- or using Lavender Oil. I'll have to try those for the days when I want to wear one of my few polyester/blend tops. I've been using commercial stuff for those days, since they're rare and none of the natural sticks/rollons have done anything for my stinkers.

Great thread
