Sadly, I've only eaten Vietnamese food once, but it was wonderful. I bought a cookbook about 10 years later because it had the recipe for the one thing I remembered most, some kind of crushed shrimp wrapped around sugar cane and grilled. Mmm. But I haven't tried making it.
Our tadpoles are growing little legs and we have a Mourning Dove (or is it a Morning Dove?) sitting on an egg (presumably, lol) right outside our kitchen window.
Ds discovered a couple new online games which he is really enjoying. One of them accrues points using decimals so it was confusing ds. He'd think he had 175 point and could buy a new weapon when he only had 17.5 points. So now he knows a little about decimals. He has also been making more sense of number placement with these games. He understood 500 is more than 100 but wasn't sure if 500 was more than 199 because the 9s are bigger numbers. He'll ask what's more, 79 or 97. He doesn't have it down yet but he's working it out painlessly.
We finished reading The Horse and his Boy
, last night. It's the third in the Narnia series. Tonight, we'll probably start the next book, Prince Caspian
