Breech Again!!!!

I can't believe after having one glorious week of having baby heads down, he flipped again. On top of that he is back to kicking the crud out of my cervix.

So now I am scheduled for a version and probable induction on May 7th. I am so bummed and frustrated!!! This baby just doesn't want to stay heads down!!!

Can you push the induction date back? Aren't you due middle May, that's still almost 3 weeks from now - so plenty of time for LO to spin back. If s/he can flip now, can flip later

Urgh how frustrating, i would agree on pushing the induction back. Why couldnt they wait until you go into labour naturally? Even if you do end up needing a c-sec, I am not being rude just curious.

I'm guessing the idea is to do the version then induce before he can flip again, yes? It does seem odd that they'd do it 10 days before your EDD, though.

I hope baby flips back on his own.

I agree^^ flip and induce, I can understand, well from a doc point of view...but not that soon before EDD.

Will your doctor not deliver a breech? I agree that's really early!

This little guy has been flipping for weeks. He has been mostly heads up or sideways. I am seeing a group of midwives and they are trying to help me avoid a C-section.

So my midwife wants to do it earlier than later since the fluid is at a good level and it gets harder to turn as it gets later, plus if my water breaks it is a definite C-section (they don't deliver breech, nor do their backup OB's) And since the little guy is flipping all the time they are thinking of inducing so he doesn't flip back.

It is a total nightmare, I don't even want an epidural let alone all the other stuff that is coming from the situation. But more than anything I don't want a C-section. I just hope he flips and stays put and all this stress is for nothing.

I hear ya, mama! Right after my version, my first thought was -- I hope it ends up inducing some labor so I can check out of the hospital and go across the street to give birth at the birth center! I was so nervous it would flip back -- just get the baby out NOW was my thought!!
