Talk to me about NAET

...or is it taboo or something? I swear I had seen it discussed (or at least mentioned) before, but now when I search for it I get no results.

I was just wondering if anyone has done this, and what were the results, and can it work on little kids? (our allergy sufferer is almost 3)

Thanks...

it didn't work for us. tried it for me and my ds who's now 2. Did it at about 1 or 1.5...I think many people on here like it though. I wish I had a more positive outcome to report b/c I am desperate for help. sorry

My naturopath is recommending it for my 2 food intolerant kids, but I just can't wrap my head around it. So I'm listening too...

Didn't work for us either, but my good friend and her family had a lot of success with it.

I was very enthusiastic about it too when i heard about it. the friend who told me about NAET had wonderful results..but alas didnt do anything to mu 2 yr old severely allergic son. my husband however got rid of his mild intolerance for coconut oil ??? wish you luck...i personally think its upto the practitioner, i feel we didnt find a good one :-(. good luck to u...

hey there~

i had (even still have!) a lot of skepticism about it, but we did it with DS when he was about 1 or so. he was sensitive to a number of foods through my milk (wheat, dairy, soy, corn, garbanzo beans, citrus, tomato, chocolate)--all of his reactions were digestive (diarrhea, red ring in his bum, lots of peeing/pooping, etc.). he has outgrown all of his allergies and i was able to start eating corn, soy, citrus, tomato right after doing the NAET and then he started to eat some of those when he got more interested in food. by the time he was 2.25 he could eat everything without a single reaction. so it's hard to know if it was the NAET for sure or if his body would have outgrown these things anyway. that being said, i do know other people who say that NAET worked great for their kids.
