Post Pregnancy and DIVA CUP

I am really not sure where to post this, so Green Living is what I decided on...if there is a better place, please let me know.

My dd is 10 months old and my period just returned. Prior to being pregnant I used the DIVA CUP and loved it. So when my period returned last weekend, I went to the store, bought the Post-Pregnancy DIVA CUP and gave it a try. It did not work at all...it kept slipping down which would make it unbearably uncomfortable.

So here is my question. Is this just because my muscles are not in good shape? I haven't been doing my keagles on a regular basis, so I am thinking that I just don't have the muscle tone to hold the DIVA CUP in place.

Has anyone else had a similar experience or dealt with this? Right now I am using tampons, but I would much rather go back to my DIVA CUP. I have been doing keagles every night and I am hoping that by next month I will be strong enough for the DIVA CUP.

Can you just use your pre-pregnancy Diva instead and see if that works?

I won't be much help because I started using my Diva after my pregnancy and it's always been just fine.

There's a cup user's tribe under the Finding Your Tribe section, you'll probably get more responses there.

Does the cup work it's way down over a couple hours, or does it slide down right away? If it works it's way down, that's fairly normal... I have to slide mine back into place every couple of hours. If it's right away, then you're probably looking at Kegels... Did you tear with your LO?

this happened to a friend of mine as well and her birth wasnt vaginal... dont know? She called them and told her to tilt it differently but shes still having leaking
