Old story. I know a vaccine group was going to show up to give parents info on exemptions. I never heard what all happened with it though.

Atleast MSNBC showed even a fraction of the other side of the coin. ABC news reported this around the same time and NEVER mentioned the practioners who are OPPOSED to mass immunizations, or why, and NEVER mentioned exemptions. It just reported the parents had to stick their kids, show proof theyd been stuck, or go to jail. so all those uninformed parents out there reading that article where panicking that they could be next if they dont hurry up and inject their kids with poison!

Being in that area, I should comment the reporting on it was horrible! It wasn't targeted at people with exemptions. It was targeted at parents who were vaxing and either 1) hadn't submitted the paperwork (which many said the school lost) or 2) didn't have their children up to date. I think it is totally absurd, going against our civil liberties, and I think they were taking advantage of an area with a particular demographic. A person whose child attended that school had a religious exemption and was never questioned about it whatsoever. Shame on them....
