Help with pattern- Can I use circular needles?

Zoebugsmom showed me this this and I was wondering if you think I could do it with two (or 3) circular needles instead? That way I wouldn't have a seam. I am new to pattern directions, but would love some help.

Also, do you think I could make sleeves with it? add the garter stitch detail to the wrist?

That would be super easy to adapt to knitting in the round! The straps would be the only thing that would have to be knit flat. You could do it on a 16" needle.

I think you'd be asking for trouble to try to add sleeves to it.

It should work to double the cast on stitches, join, and knit all rows until the given lengths. I don't have time to do the math for the ruffle's decrease to make sure the multiple will work out if you start with 208 stitches though so you would need to calculate this to make sure the reduced number will equal the bodice (106)

You might find the math works better if you drop the seam stitches(4 from the bodice and 4 from the ruffle) to determine your cast ons.

Everything else will be the same except to get garter in the round, you will have to alternate rows of knit and purl

I'm knitting it in the round right now. The front and back are identical so just double the stitch amount given for the front, CO and join to knit in the round. The ruffle is just double the body stitches with a decrease in the last row before joining. It's easy peasy.
