My mother informed me yesterday that we need a crib and they'd be willing to help us pay for it. I informed her that we were in a one bedroom house and had NO room for a crib, so we'd be finding another solution, like keeping the baby in bed with us. Besides, I'm planning on breastfeeding and I'm not crawling in and out of our HUGE bed all night.
So get this. She informed me that "even breastfed babies sleep through the night by 6 months, maximum."
I couldn't help but laugh. I think she was offended.

too funny!!

My mom is still annoyed that DD, now 4, has spent fewer than 20 minutes total in her overpriced crib. My mom does listen to me now when I say no thank you.
