Good point, Monica.
My mom told me that she tried an IUD at one point (she had to have a hysterectomy right after I was born... well, soon after I mean) and it caused extreme cramping and that she "felt" it in her. So she was discouraging me from pursuing that idea because she didn't want me to go through the same. IMO that's neither here nor there b/c that was YEARS ago.
I guess my decision will be based on what our insurance covers. We're sort of in between plans right now
ETA that I remember having this discussion with my last ddc and having said I was going to do something but never did....
