So I started to notice a $4 monthly fee on our bank statements. I ignored it at first and knew that it was probably from using an ATM out of our bank or something.
Well, it has been 3 months and I went to the bank to ask about it. He said that we had the OLD checking account system and he would change it to the NEW checking account system, automatically eliminating those fees.
The banker was happy to change it and said that as long as people ask they are more than happy to eliminate most fees like this one.
That's $48/year that we will save!
