We didn't get ours yet but I am totally confused about when it is supposed to arrive so I'll just keep checking. First I heard September than I heard July then I heard May 9th then May 2nd so whatever!! Who knows!

Ours was deposited yesterday. We don't electronically file but we have the IRS direct deposit our refund.

the official irs website says they were supposed to start may 2. direct deposit was first then checks. if you direct deposit and your last 2 digits of soc sec is 00-34 (i think) it was may 2. 35-45? was may 9 etc. with 99 being may 16. checks will be mailed out according to that schedule while allowing a week for delivery. then i heard on the news that they were getting them done a week early. search for irs. their website has a direct link to the schedule. i havent gotten my check yet. im at the end.

www.irs.gov has a payment schedule. I don't think it matters how you, file so much as how you get your RETURN (direct deposit, or a paper check). I'm "SUPPOSED TO" get mine on May 9th.

Yes, we got ours Friday, as expected. Now we can pay dh's dental bills.

I cannot figure-out what's going on with ours ... my soc ends in 11, I had direct deposit, and I filed my taxes in February. By all accounts on the website, we were supposed to have it by May 2. I'm a newly single Mama and drowning in bills, thanks to STBX, so any insight would be greatly appreciated. I called the silly hotline, but all I get is the automated messages telling me the same information as the website. This is really starting to bum me out.

Yep, I tried that a few days ago ... and the info it returns just isn't right:

We are sorry. Specific information about your Stimulus payment is not available.

That's why I called them, because there seems to be something wrong, but none of the things they list applies to me. It's silly.

I guess I just have to wait. Their schedule says "no later than May 2", but the fine print says to allow 2 weeks from when you are supposed to receive it. Makes a lot of sense. Hurry up and wait, I suppose ... hope we don't get evicted/power and/or phone shut-off in the meantime. Oy.
