call and speak with a person, tell them you have questions about whether you qualify for the stimulus rebate. you need to speak with someone though, not use the automated system.

I can't actually get to a person. The automated thing just hangs-up on me eventually, after giving the same repetitive info.

We got ours direct deposited on Friday.

We were supposed to get ours Friday (may 9th) but I just checked and it says it will be deposited on the 16th but to only call if we don't recieve by June 13th? Weird. Anyway, I have a feeling we wont be getting it until june. We got our refund direct deposit and filed in early Feb. I thought we would have gotten it sooner. Not much you can do about it though.

That's why I called them, because there seems to be something wrong, but none of the things they list applies to me. It's silly.

It said that for me last week...but today it worked. I read on another board it will only tell you the date once your check has been scheduled and it is slow. I would keep checking if you can't get a hold of a real person.

We filed an extension for our taxes this year, does anyone know if we will get the stimulus payment after we do file our taxes? I guess I was wondering if it somehow disqualifies us from getting the payment at all. Looked on the IRS website but couldn't find anything. Haven't tried calling yet because I dread using the automated system... Oh how nice it is to talk to actual people!

if you qualify you will get it after you file.

Anyway we received ours today for the full amount we were expecting.

We were initially expecting to receive it tomorrow. Then I learned earlier this week at the IRS website that because we had done our tax refund this year as an instant refund loan (where you get it in a few days) we will be getting a check in the mail after the end of June (scheduled to me mailed at the end of June anyways). Never mind that the tax prep place totally screwed up and then when they did file our taxes we waited the typical 15 days.
