My water just broke.....UPDATE Post #41

Well, I just woke up, was switching sides in bed, and felt a trickle. So far I had not been leaking pee, so I got up to go to the bathroom and it definitely does not feel like pee. Not much is coming out, so I have no idea how close I am to labor starting. I did also have a glob of mucus when I wiped, which I'm assuming is a piece of the mucus plug. Anyways, I'm going back to bed, b/c I am really tired and I want to rest up.
Please be praying for me, I really do want to have this baby naturally and avoid a C-section. Hopefully this is it!!!!!

Ok, so much for trying to sleep. I laid down for about two hours, that counts as some rest, right???? I've pooped twice since then, and I'm having some bloody show, so I guess I'm heading in the right direction. I started having some irregular contractions about an hour ago. They are very short, but actually a little stronger than I thought they would be at the beginning. I hope they don't get a whole lot worse. I've been feeling a little nauseous as well. Probably should not have had sushi, spring rolls, and vegetable tempura for dinner huh?
Well, that's all for now. I'm gonna lie down again and wait for sunrise so I can call my midwife. I'll try to update everyone then. Hopefully there will be more to tell!

wow so that's what starts labor....*makes note of the food* Two hours counts as rest...it's more than i've gotten so far tonight Easy labor vibes to you mama! Keep us posted when you can! Hugs!

Contractions are coming closer now, about every six minutes. They are pretty intense, but they only last a minute so I'm managing for the time being. I just took a nice shower. I spoke with my midwife at 6 am and she just said to try to rest and get back to her in an hour. I feel really really pukey.

Yay an update! i have been checking every 30 mins or so i am such a stalker, but i just need to know what is happening. Good to hear things are heating up, i hope everything goes easily and well. Rest up, i will be thinking of you, and have lit a candle.
