Eye Color?

Has anyone's LO changed eye color yet?
Any eye color predictions?

My husband is hispanic but somewhere in his line there must be someone with blue eyes (though every family member we know of has brown!) because our first daughter was born blue and stayed blue. Our son turned to brown.

Right now Ruby's eyes are very blue, but I am going to guess she will turn brown like her brother

It took about 6-9 months for dd's eyes to change. I've heard up to 18 months for them to change so we could have a while. My ds1 was born with black eyes and they have pretty much stayed that color although they are a tiny bit lighter now. Right now ds2 has bright blue eyes, but as we don't know of anyone on dh's side of the family with blue eyes we will both be shocked if they stay blue.

DS will be a toss-up. I'm from a long line of German blue-eyes, DH is from brown-eyed Sicilian stock. My guess is brown like daddy.

DS--who is 4 days old--barely has blue eyes at all. Even from birth they were a navy blue/brown, so I have no doubt he will have brown eyes, even though his papa and big sis have blue.

DS is 4.5 weeks old, and his eyes are still the dark gray-blue that he was born with.

I have very blue eyes, and DH has dark brown eyes. Our DD had blue eyes like me for three years, and then they started getting darker and developing brownish areas. Now they're more of a bluish hazel. I tell DH that his genes are muddying things up.

When DS1 was born, I was shocked... given how white DH and I are ;-) I figured a kid of ours, whatever s/he ended up looking like, would definitely start off with blonde hair and blue eyes. He had reddish/brown hair and gunmetal grey eyes at birth. Now his eyes are a milk-chocolate brown, like his daddy's.

DS2 had almost the same eye color at birth, but with a touch of blue to it, so I'm hopeful he'll be a little bit more to the hazel side like I am. (I have predominantly green hazel eyes, with a ring of blue-grey around the outside and brown spokes coming from the middle. They also change color... getting bright green if I go swimming in salt water, turning mostly grey if it's very humid or rainy, and getting much more brown when the air quality is poor.)

All in my family have brown eyes, although my moms are pretty light.
My hubby has really light blue/green eyes like his dad, his moms are brown and so is most of her family.
Our LO has pretty dark eyes still but they're definetly lighter than they were at birth.
Sometimes they look like they're a dark green, sometimes they look light brown. We're able to see his pupils easily as opposed to my dark eye color where you have to look really hard.
We're not sure what he'll end up with though.
I'm hoping they get light. He's got pretty olive skin and right now his hair is dark.
I'm so anxious to see how things will change...but at the same time I'm enjoying him just as he is!

we've already gone from that dark grey newborn color to navy blue. I suspect it will lighten up and be blue just like his brothers... dh has grayish blue eyes and I have green

i have light eyes that have been blue, green, grey in my life. dh has dark brown eyes. ds has his daddys eyes. dd1 had lighter brown eyes but they seem to be leaning towards hazel. i realy want this last child to have light eyes like me but they are darkish blue now. not holding out much hope - will prob be another brown eyed cutie.

I have dark brown eyes and DH has the most stunningly beautiful turquoisey blue eyes. They look fake, its amazing. I have ALWAYS hoped that just ONE of our children would get his eyes, but nope. All my babes were born with dark grey eyes that are now dark dark brown.

However! DD3 was born with light grey eyes that are turning BLUE! They are really getting quite light now, this gorgeous color (the color of the quote button...lol) is starting to move out from the middle of her eye and now all there is a darker blue line around the outside. I am getting a little obsessed about it, I really hope they stay blue!
