Diva Cup alternative??

Help! Ever since having DD, tampons aren't working for me, so I decided to go the Diva Cup route. Just tried it for the first time, and it works, but sticks out enough that it's uncomfortable...I trimmed the "stem", and it didnt' help. Is there an alternative out there that's shorter in length than the diva cup? Thanks!!

Not really anything like a Diva, but I have fallen in love with sea sponge tampons from Jade & Pearl. Really easy to use and care for....and super comfy!

How far up are you sliding it? I had to remove the stem entirely from my cups to make them comfortable. I have a Mooncup and a Lunette. I love the Mooncup (UK), and don't really care for the Lunette.

I love the Mooncup UK as well; here are a few links comparing different menstrual cups:

I've used (with great success) Sea Pearls sea sponges. Currently, I merely use handmade cloth pads...and I am happy with my results.

I would work with it a little more. It sounds like you need to put it up a bit higher. It definitely has a learning curve. The first few months, I could feel it. Once I figured out mine needed to be angled slightly and be up a bit higher, I was fine.

There is some great cup info here: http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups

Here are some folding techniques to try different ways to insert it

I learned a lot from these sites. People ask questions and others answer them, and it's very informative.
