Wedding Gift from Child to Babysitter

Help... I'm trying to think of something my 3 year old can make to give to her babysitter - she is getting married.

I was thinking of having her decorate a picture frame - I was going to give her ribbons/beads - help her with the glue -

But I didn't know if anyone had any other ideas. I'd love to hear them. I like the apron idea - folks have mentioned - mabye with our girls handprints on them or something.

It will also sort of be a going away present because she is moving.

Thakns for any help.

It might not work if the baby sitter is moving but we got some lovely pots of flowers for our garden. Most of them were annuals but we still have the pots and I enjoy refilling them each year.

My 3 year old loves filling post with compost and flowers and making paper flags to put in them too.

I agree with Laughing Hyena about the flowerpots. They are really fun to paint, too. With acrylic craft paint.

My 3 yo son just made a necklace for my mom and it turned out pretty cute. we used 1/2 inch round wooden beads and painted them with acrylic paint (we put them on a pipe cleaner for that part) and then strung them on some yarn. It turned out pretty cute. Here's a picture from my blog.

Whatever project you decide on, I'm sure your babysitter will treasure it because it was made by your dd.

You can also get actual canvas and let your little one paint her a picture for her new home- if its strange she can just call it modern art, or you can limit the child's color choices to just a few that will look nice together.
