Anyone have an Easy Set Pool?

I bought an 8' X 30" one and want to put it up in our backyard. Our backyard is 9' across between our mobile home and the fence, so it'll just fit. I'm not even sure our mobile home park would allow one, but I'm going to do it anyway, since their rules are a little too much and my backyard is completely closed off from view

Does anyone have one of these? Here are my questions:
-should I worry about it being close to the house?
-will it collapse easily if kids lean on the sides?
-how did you level your ground area? Mine is just uneven dirt right now since I just cleaned the entire yard of a storage shed and other stuff the previous owner had back there. I think I will put a tarp underneath it to prevent punctures from weeds, etc.
-any other cautions or advice?

We had one. Never again. It really wasn't worth the trouble. It was hard to keep clean. Pools are expensive at any rate.

You need it to be super level. If it isn't, it can easily flood your area.

My parents set up a huge one every year. HOwever, they typically have to buy a new one every year as the one from the previous year usually dies sometime around August . (there are 9 grandkids using it all summer long and they are rowdy so it's no small feat that it lasts that long...)

They level the ground with sand underneath, it does need to be nice and level. Then they put a blue tarp atop the sand, and the pool on top of that. THeirs is always a huge one, but the sides don't collapse easily with kids bumping into it, jumping over it, etc. They also have a cover that they put over it nightly to keep leaves, insects, etc. out. My dad uses a net every morning to clean out the junk when he takes the cover off. They also use chlorine tablets and it has a filter (or maybe 2?).

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

We were SUPER careful, the thing sprung leaks all over, piece of junk, but it did keep me happy when I was 8 months pg in August, so I guess it was worth the $200 we spent on it.
