So for the past three weeks, up until the middle of last week, I had been having ever more frequent BH and ctx, bloody mucous, and the feeling that !something! was going to happen really really soon. Then on Wednesday, it all seemed to stop. The baby moved up in my pelvis and it wasn't until last night that I has another ctx. I then realized that I have one week until my due date- so roughly 2 weeks to have this baby...but then what? What if I don't go into labor? I am terrified of being induced (wife had PROM and was induced- it was a yucky departure from her birth plan and solidified my desire to HB) Is it normal to fret about such things? Someone please assure me I will go into labor
I often think this is going on forever, then when I look at the calendar I panic at how little time is left. Your precious baby knows when, where and exactly how...we just have to wait. Mine have always come within a couple days of their due date, never as much as a week early or late, but it happens to some women. Baby won't stay in forever mama, he or she knows exactly how long he/she needs to be fully done and ready for the outside.
