I found the most perfect pregnancy food.... A Banana Split! :

The bananas and strawberries for the potassium, you know, for leg cramps.
The ice cream & whipped cream for the calcium & cold, for heart burn
The chocolate because that prevents pre-e
And the pineapple to bring on labor

Perfect nutrition for a pregnant woman, right??

DH thought I was full of hooey too, but he still got me one!

LOL I'm game!!! I have to say, I ate some neopolitan (?spelling) the other day and about three hours later, I burped and tasted it. Now that was nasty...I mean....it should have melted and been gone right?

Banana split does sound yummy. I know baskin robbins does a thing called a banana royal...where they chop the banana to bite size in the bottom and it's a little less ice cream only two scoops. And omg I love their marshmellow topping. I don't think I could eat a full size split, but man now you got me craving at Im up with insomnia...at two am... :P

oh it's perfect all right! I'm waiting to have mine till baby is here though, since having DH talk about banana splits seems to help me get through the worse contractions. (<----- never know what will help eh?)

I'm using that logic for the reason I'll be making my family go to Dairy Queen after church this morning. Thanks for the clever insight!!

Oh yeah - I've been eating these for months now! Got a craving & went out to the store & bought all the ingredients. Felt like a total pig, but whatever! I use low-fat ice cream at least! I've been eating with strawberries (good fiber) instead of pineapple. Yum.
