...and I have no idea how to fix it. For now, we just have a Tupperware container catching the water. It's leaking from the top of the inside of the fridge. I would tell the landlady at our apt. complex about it but I don't know if it'd get fixed or not. Our carpet has been dirty since the day we moved in and even though she says she'll send someone, it's still dirty. We moved here in Oct. Nothing really gets done around here. Is the water harmful at all? Is there any way that I can get it to stop leaking? It's getting really annoying.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

We had this problem and just fixed it last week. Here are the links that I went to:
http://www.applianceblog.com/mainfor...ead.php?t=4187
http://www.applianceaid.com/frig_leaking.html#inside
http://www.applianceaid.com/defrost_drain_freezes.html
Basically we had to clear out the freezer above and pry off the back wall (from the inside of the freezer) and there was ice all over covering the little drain hole. So we poured boiling water in until we could just access the drain hole. Then I made a mild bleach/boiling water mixture that we squirted directly down the drain with a turkey baster until the hose was all the way cleared out from the ice.
To help keep the drain from stopping up with ice again we wrapped a copper wire around the automatic defroster and stuck it down the hole a little ways so when the freezer defrosts the wire will heat up and keep the drain hole cleared out.
Oh yeah and then we had to clean pan that is under the fridge that catches the defrost water because we overflowed it. I check our fridge daily to see if our little procedure worked and so far no leaking.
By the way, it took about 1 1/2-2 hours to do, which in my opinion was worth it.

We had to do the same thing when we moved into this house. Glad we didn't have to replace the appliance. It took us most of the day, but it was a great time to scrub it out. Like a new fridge after that. Good luck!
