i've heard someone mention that horizon organics is actually a bad company. i can't remember where i heard it or the reason given. i haven't bought any of their stuff, but is it truly a bad company?

i think Kraft bought them and thats why people don't like them

If I have a choice in organics, I don't buy Horizon. But if I'm out, DS wants milk and Horizon is the only organic milk, I'll buy it.

All I have heard is that they are not a small dairy, they are a huge dairy in Texas and have questionable farming practices.

What brand organic milk do you prefer? In my town all I can get is Horizon or Stonyfield Farms. About 30 minutes away is a bigger town where I can also get Full Circle or Naturally Preferred.

: Same here. It's easy to find those little individual servings of Horizon. I'm starting to see Organic Valley ones on occasion too.

This is why I stopped buying Horizon. If you google it you'll find tons of info.

Here is a site that rates organic dairy companies. If you click their names you can get more info on why they are rated the way they are. Horizon is at the bottom of the list. I try to stick with the highest rated brands when available:
