Cool veggie peeler

It slips on your middle finger, so you just have to rub your hand over the veggies to peel them. My mom got one for me. It's really cool!! I just peeled some veggies for my soup, and got so happy about it I thought I'd share...

Thanks for the rec! I keep meaning to send a peeler to my BFF. We were there in December, and the only peeler they have is like the worst one I've EVER used. No wonder they can't stand cooking! It's all about having the right tools...

man, I'd cut myself with that thing But it looks really cool for someone with more grace than I have.

I am lazy... I don't peel my veggies before putting them into soup... or anything else... LOLOL.... I don't even peel potatoes when making mashed potatoes

In fact, the only thing I really use my peeler for is making veggie "ribbons" :

So many nutrients are in the skin that I never peel veggies.

I seldom peel, too...mostly when I can't afford organic apples or cucumbers or stuff that ends up with wax on them, and potatoes for my DH (he has this phobia of potato skin...). But if I HAVE to peel something, I'll have a lot more fun using my new peeler than my old one (dull to the point of being near useless).

I don't peel my veggies - that's where all the fiber is. But, that looks pretty cool if I were to peel some veggies!

Palm peelers are also excellent for people with arthritis - they don't have to grip the peeler. We've had one for a few years, and my daughter loves it. They do make great gifts/stocking stuffers.

And it isn't that easy to cut yourself with it.

Why yes, I do work for a store that sells them.
