Woo Hoo!

I had sat down in the display chair at WalMart (my sister dragged me in) to feed my baby when a pregnant woman came up to me in amazement and asked if "you can do that here". I explained to her that her right to breastfeed anywhere was protected by law. she told me she was dead set on nursing her child and everyone she knew had told her she couldn't breastfeed in public. . . she thanked me for changing her life. hooray!

See, sometimes all people need is accurate information. Good on ya.

Yay! It is so sad that she thought that, but so wonderful that she learned from you and will no doubt pass it on to others.

That is so awesome. I can't imagine how thrilled she must have been. Way to go!

Unfortunately, it's not protected everywhere. Particularly, WV...where I regularly visit my parents, and MA...which is the next state near my home state(about 30 minutes) where my brother and sil live. Kind of stinks that I can't go visiting and feel secure to nurse my babes wherever I want to.
